Vantage Engineering (Hong Kong) Limited is committed to protecting your privacy. Set out below is information that explains our practices about the way your personal data is collected and used.

Personal Data We Hold

The kinds of personal data we collect and hold about you include information such as your name and address which are collected from you directly, and also information such as payment records, entry permit applications, HKID and other operational and administrative records that are collected during the course of your provision of services to us.

Purpose of Collection

We may collect, hold, use and process your personal data for the purposes of engaging, managing, monitoring, and appraising our professional relationships with you and/or your staff who provides ervices to us. This primarily includes, but is not limited to, work arrangement/assignment, training, discipline, competency and performance assessments, entry permit applications, network domainaccount applications, communication and any relatedpurposes.

Transfer of Personal Data

To help us carry out these activities, from time to time we disclose personal data to third parties including:

  • the client which you are seconded to work in, including their subsidiaries and affiliated companies in Hong
    Kong;
  • our employees, contractors, suppliers, agents and service providers, including service providers outside Hong Kong (for example overseas based cloud storage providers) who assist us to provide products and services and to administer and manage our business;
  • entities (including entities outside Hong Kong) that assist us to conducting research or analyse data;
  • government and regulatory authorities (as required or authorised by law); and
  • our professional advisors (such as auditors and lawyers).

How do we store your Information?

We may hold your personal data in electronic or hardcopy form and/or a combination of both. We take steps a number of physical, electronic and procedural steps to protect your personal data we hold from misuse, interference, loss, and from unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.

Access and Correction of Personal Data

You have a right to request access to, and the correction of, your personal data in accordance with the provisions of the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486). Requests for access and correction should be made by email to hr@vantage.com.hk.
